Hello, My Name is Duchess.
RECENTLY ADOPTED - OCTOBER 2020!

My story has a rocky beginning. I was dumped at an auction as a weanling. I had a foal at age 3 and had at least 4 different owners by the age of 4. I arrived at CDHR with a horrific case of canker infection in all four hooves, severely overgrown hooves and a few hundred pounds underweight. But my spirits were high. I’m as friendly as a lapdog and I’ve been told I have a wonderful attitude. I may have had a rough first four years of life, but I’ve got energy and spunk and I’m looking for my forever home where I can be loved on
and go for light walks with my special human.
