Hello, My Name is King.
RECENTLY ADOPTED - AUGUST 2020!

They say it’s all in a name. And my name is King. I’m a magnificent well-bred, black Percheron gelding who has been let down by people several times over my life. I was part of a large group of animals seized for starvation and neglect. I was adopted and returned to CDHR for no fault of my own, the family had a change in their life situation. I am a horse that needs a job. I drive single or as a team and I also do well under saddle, but I do best in harness. There’s nothing I can’t do if I put my mind to it. I would love to find a permanent home where I can be secure for the rest of my life, beyond my working days.
