• Cuda is AVAILABLE for adoption as a companion horse.

• Notes: Shortly after Cuda arrived, we realized how much he did not trust humans. It was heartbreaking to watch as he would observes, with sad eyes, as we gave affection to his friends but would run and shake if we attempted to do the same to him. We decided he would do best with a breakaway halter, this would allow us to catch him if needed(we only attempted if he required medical care) while keeping him safe if he were to get himself caught on something. Once “caught” he has always been and continues to be a perfect gentleman! He has taught all of us to be patient and to be aware of our large movements around him. Slowly, with having to replace his breakaway piece, feeding him, giving him space and having him watch us with the rest of the herd, he has come around to humans. He still has a long way to go but we are grateful for how far he has come.
