Jackson is a 16.1hh 4 year old Percheron cross stallion who arrived at the rescue in June 2025 as part of a group (the “Windham 8”) seized by Animal Control officers for neglect. He was very underweight, had neglected hooves and teeth, and has not yet been gelded. He has an old injury to his left stifle that may require surgery and he needs Equioxx daily for pain control. He does require sedation for farrier work. As the legal proceedings have not been finalized, Jackson is not yet available for adoption. He will also be gelded before he is adoptable.
