• Louis is a is a 10 year-old Percheron gelding

• He arrived in June 2025 as part of a group (the “Windham 8”) seized for neglect by Animal Control Officers. As the legal proceedings have not been finalized, he is NOT available for adoption.

• Hooves: Due to the long-term hoof neglect, the damage to his weakened hooves resulted in several hoof abscesses and he now requires front shoes for support and protection along with some sedation for his farrier work.

• Medical Needs: He has an old pelvic injury that was causing him pain. He now takes daily Equioxx for his comfort.
