Ct Draft Horse Rescue relies on our dedicated volunteers to care for our horses every day. Whether it’s daily chores like mucking, feeding, and caring for our herd or helping with ground maintenance, you will play an important role in CDHR's mission. We have volunteer opportunities for any level of experience.

Help is needed on both weekend and weekday morning and evening shifts. Our Volunteer hours are 7 days a week from 7:00 am-11:00am (+/-) and 3:30pm-7:00pm (+/-)

Come out and meet our volunteer coordinator and learn about the rescue and ways you can help.

Volunteers must be at least 15 years old, and must always be accompanied by an adult (over 18).
