Hello, My Name is Kai (ADOPTED AUGUST 2021)

My name is Kai and I am the prankster of the farm! I was born at CDHR to a Clydesdale mare, Annie, CDHR had rescued in foal. I had a rough start in life including pneumonia, ulcers, fractured neck vertebrae, and congenital (inherited) cataracts. Phew. But I’ve got spirit and a strong will. I had corrective eye surgery but due to some complications after the surgery, I am blind in my left eye and have very limited vision in my right eye. Bet you can’t tell by the way I run and play. I have been under saddle and do well on level ground and familiar settings, but I can be spooky at times, especially on windy days since I rely on my hearing. I’m definitely a clown and love to make everyone laugh. Stop by Autumn Ridge and visit me, I’m sure to bring a smile to your face.
