Whether you are a novice and want to learn about horses from the ground up, or an experienced horse person that wants to share your time and expertise, we can always use your help!

We are hosting a volunteer information session for anyone who may be interested in joining our team of dedicated volunteers.

You must be at least 15 years of age to volunteer with us. No volunteers under the age of 18 can be at the farm without an adult family member.

Here are a few of our daily chores:
-Feeding and filling hay bags.
-Bringing the horses in/out of the paddocks for feed and care.
-Mucking paddocks, cleaning and filling water troughs in each paddock.
-Sweeping and general clean-up.

Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue is 100% volunteer-operated. Volunteers are vital to our organization – providing much-needed help and allowing us to properly care for our rescued draft horses.
