Did you know a willow tree symbolizes stability, strength and support? A willow stands firm and withstands the greatest of challenges. I am a Willow. Along with my horse soul mate, Gulliver, I too was one of the five Shire horses rescued by CDHR from a severe neglect and starvation situation on Long Island. I suffer from CPL, a leg swelling and skin condition common to draft horses, but mine progressed into large tumors on my pasterns due to the neglect I suffered. Autumn Ridge is my permanent home now.
